My friend has this exact same app, but it looks totaly diffrent on his! On mine, its like you have to have wifi to find wifi, which makes no sence since I have an itouch, not an iPhone. Abd it dosent even let me join the wifi it finds!! On his, it locates wifi and lets you join it (without already haveing wifi) really easily. Is there something wrong with my app? Or did I get an update he didnt?? Plz fix this. Make it more easy like my friends. Thx!

The offline database is minimally slow to load. However, very useful in finding a wi-fi spot if youre not in one with the large database. It only gives you major street names but tap on the wi-fi bubble and it will give you the address. I like the fact you can zoom into the map but would be nice if more street names popped up when doing so. Overall getting to a wi-fi spot should be relatively easy if you arent familiar with the area.

Please please revive Wifi Get, its the only way I can get strong wifi, otherwise, I get to sit in a corner or freeze/have heatstroke outside in my front lawn. This message goes out to Apple: Please either revive Wifi Get, or strengthen the wifi pickup signal you guys created for the settings. If you dont....I dont think I can function with my iPod anymore. This really upsets me....

WiFi Get was perfect! Who cares about hot spots at Mickey Ds & Starbucks? I dont need a service to tell me theres WiFi there. I need to link up to a network where I am. This thing doesnt even pick up my WiFi at home!

This used to be a useful app. Now without the wifi scan feature,its a waste of memory...

Previous version was fantastic. I used it to solve many issues on my wireless network. Particularly nearby routers running on the same channel as mine preventing the use of my Touches on my network. Great help on the road. Also used it to optimize the range of wireless APs. This is a big loss of a very useful tool. Hope we can get this capability back.

It use to scan. Now its nothing but a piece of crap App!

What good is a wi fi finder if it wont scan? Not much. This application used the tell me exactly the networks that were within range, whether they were password protected or not. This was very usuful while away from home and trying to find a wi-fi spot. Since the "upgrade" of this application wont do that anymore, most likely I will delelte it from my i pod.

Lots of stupid reviews here... Bottom line - the network scan is great. It tells you all the LAN devices IP addresses AND THEIR MANUFACTURER!!!! It must lookup MAC address patterns behind the scenes but its amazing and ultra fast. I dont even use the wifi features!

I hate it. Doesnt work one bit dont buy the 99 cent version it prob doesnt work either

I install wireless networks and this was my most useful tool for troubleshooting. Now, i dont see any usefulness... Got to haul my laptop out now. Dont use it until they fix it!



This app was my favorite cuz I could scan the area for wifi and now it cant search for wifi without wifi so now theres no need for it now. Please change it back.

why, i was searching for some neighbor wifi and out of nowhere it starts restarting. Then when it turned back on and i was putting in my password it was frozen for like ten seconds. i got so scared i deleted it. DO NOT waste the second it takes to click FREE APP to download it. SHEESH

People complain features that are not allowed by Apple. The app does what it says. I like the network scan function. Tell you a lot about your network.
